We offer a wide assortment of DVDs. Subjects include religious personalities and mostly Hindi devotional movies with English subtitles.
PLEASE NOTE Unless noted otherwise, the DVDs are NTSC formatted. NTSC is the format used in the United States, Canada and Japan. The PAL format is used in Europe (not France), Scandinavia, Australia and India, among many other countries. The SECAM format is used in Eastern Europe and France. You may be able to view NTSC formatted videos with a PAL or SECAM video player. Check your DVD player's manual and note if the DVD is all regions.
With regard to the Indian movies, please note that most of the devotional Indian movies we sell are in Hindi. Some westerners may find the movies to be too stylized. Indian acting is a different style! But again, others love this devotional approach to film making.
The Indian movies that we sell for $14.95 are not made from the original film masters, so you shouldn't expect the quality to equal a modern Hollywood film movie. Many of the films are rare and hard to find, so the producers decided the value of the films was more important that image perfection. The DVDs are duplicated on DVD-R disks. Also, some of the movies may have been edited slightly to fit the DVD/video format length requirements.
