Practice of Religion
by Swami Vivekananda
A lecture of Swami Vivekananda on the essence of religion.
- 29 pages, small Indian paperback
One of the contributions of Swami Vivekananda was to single out the essence of all religions and to distinguish this essence from the dross. In this lecture, Swami Vivekananda points out that in order to be really spiritual, we need to be dynamic and practice spiritual disciplines instead of being content with lifeless theories and dogmas.
This lecture was first delivered at Alameda, California on April 18, 1900, and, given its importance, is now published separately in this booklet.
