I first encountered Amber Katsura in the late 80’s or early 90’s at Santana concerts; he always has it burning prior to his performances. Because I found the scent so pleasing, I tracked his source ( at the time) down and ordered it. As I began to run low, I found it again online at Vendata and ordered more.
Although I enjoy other scents, this is by far my favorite. It instantly puts me in a good mood!
Although scents are highly personal in terms of preference, I think most would find this pleasing. It has so many notes, like a fine wine making it a bit difficult to accurately describe. However, since you can obtain one box for an inexpensive price, I highly recommend giving it a try.
I love this incense. A friend turned me on to it a few years ago. It has a lovely aroma that isn't overpowering and not real sweet.

Still should be a corner stone for every incense box or collection; it IS Mothers favorite! Somehow you just know it! It touches on helpful samkaras for many seasoned practitioners; those who have had history at the Vedanta Society Temple (s)! ergo, it has a nostalgic quality that all will feel soothed by & heart opened by.
Out of the hundred plus high quality Indian incenses I have tried, from Happy Hari to Shroff, Pure Incense, Vinasons and so on,
this is definitely in my top 10. Very happy to have discovered this one.

I was glad to reconnect with this incense after many years. I prefer to place un lit sticks around the house. It is not as overpowering as temple incense.
This is a sublime incense, the best.
