This is the image of Kali that Ramakrishna worshiped for many years. It is rare and unusual for a photograph of this kind to be allowed, but Swami Chetanananda of the Vedanta Society of St. Louis center was able to talk the priests into not only allowing the photo, but moving the flowers aside for a clear view of Shiva.
