This photograph of the Holy Mother was taken at a studio in Choowringhee, Calcutta in 1905. Holy Mother was 52 years old.
We made the negatives for the photos from the original glass negatives stored at Udbodhan.

High quality image of Ma

Regarding my online purchase - How do you review an image of the Holy Mother? On the one hand you look at it and say “it is you mother” and yet it is a print. I will say that the quality is perfect and this photo of Ma sits on my shrine next to Thakur. I also asked the bookshop to have the resident Swami bless the photo for me as this would give much added meaning to her image. Bless the staff - they granted my request. This meant the world to me and increased my devotion to this special lady! Thank you Vedanta Press and bookstore for a perfect transaction and for honoring my request.
