It's very helpful to have the text at hand while listening to Swami Sarvapriyananda's talks. I'm not a fit judge, but I believe the translation is very good and conveys the truth of the text. The book is laid out so you can read a straight forward English version of each verse, commentary on it, along with a more literal rendering.
