The Brahma Sutra is the third of the canonical texts and is regarded as the Nyaya-prasthana, because it sets forth the teachings of Vedanta in a logical order.The work is known by other names including Vedanta-sutra, Sariraka-sutra, and Bhiksu-sutra.

Takes perseverance to follow the arguments for and against but well worth it. Yes, one of the pillars of traditional Vedanta wisdom after the Upanishads and the Gita. Feel that it may be useful to read through all the 555 slokas first without the lengthy commentary and then go back ad read relevant commentary for any confusing slokas. Would be a great group practice to slowly study this traditional work.
