Science is concerned only with the physical universe and because of this exclusion of the spiritual realm, science fails to come to terms with the nature, meaning and final goal of the human Soul. Only religion can do this.

Though critical of Modern Science, Swami Mukhyananda feels that if Science and Vedanta can work together, humanity can be raised to an higher level of culture and a more profound sense of reality.
