Part biographical, part travel diary, this is a fascinating account of travels of Swami Akhandananda, a monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna travelling in the Himalayas from 1887-1897. Much of his route was in wild forests. He took a vow to not take money nor carry food, totally depending on the Lord.
