From the 1930s on, Bob Luis visited many of the Vedanta Centers in the US and Europe, taking movies of the swamis and devotees they met along the way.The DVD also includes the only known film footage of Sri Ramakrishna's disciple Swami Akhandananda.
Much of the film shows events at the Vedanta Society of So. California. The footage itself is silent with voice-over narration. The primary people interested in this film will be those who were present when the films were shot and anyone interested in seeing historic footage.
