Sankara’s Vivekachudamani is a popular Vedanta text which gives its basic principles. We sell three translations:
The first translation is a work by a Swami Turyananda, disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. It was transcribed from notes taken by Ida Ansell, an American devotee who attended Swami Turiyananda’s classes at the turn of the century.
Text in Sanskrit, transliteration, and English translation. A verse index in Sanskrit is included.
272+xiv pages, Indian paperback
The next translation is our more popular traditional translation, and was translated by Swami Madhavananda.
The book comes with Devanagri text and English translation.
See also "Shankara's Crest Jewel of Discrimination" for a more western translation of this important scripture of Shankara.
