The Rig-Veda is the most ancient of the four Vedas, and with the other Vedas, is regarded by the orthodox as divine direct revelation and supreme authority in all religious matters. 

The Hymns of the Rig Veda (2500 BC) constitute the earliest lyrical effusions of the Hindus, which have been handed down to posterity.

X-190-1 to 3;
X-191-1 to 4 The slokas have been recorded with Indian musical instruments providing a background score. Text in Sanskrit with transliteration and translation in English enclosed.

  An enjoyable listen. I appreciated the accompanying booklet with the translations from original sanskrit in which the Veda is sung.
