The Upanishads are a part of the Vedas, the oldest and most authoritative scriptures of India. They contain neither dogma, rituals, nor personal gods. They teach that the only reality is an all-pervading absolute existence, called Brahman. The world is not what it appears to be, but something wonderful that is a part of our nature.
