Meditation Aids
To be able to meditate well, it helps to be comfortable in as quiet an environment as possible. Some people like to cover themselves in a mediation shawl to both keep warm, and develop an inward mood.
You don't have to sit on the floor if you prefer a chair. The main thing is to be in a place free of distraction. If there's too much noise, try earplugs!
To provide an atmosphere to meditate in, many people also like to burn incense to provide a mood. Whenever they smell the incense, the mind associates it with the practice of meditation.
